“Cycle of love” wins Goldene Kurbel

We have to ship the Goldene Kurbel 2011 in the USA: Winner is the short “Cycle of love” by Catherine Marshall. “Congeniality and fortune of the bewitching leading actor (see pic.) impressed the jury deeply”, so a voice of the inner circle of the ICFF. Cycle of love is the first film, within which bicycles play all parts in the film.

Runner-up is the film “O Risco” – The Line, the first splatter film of the ICFF, shot by José Pedro Lopes from Portugal. Third price goes to Italy for the anime “A bicycle trip” by Lorenzo Veracini, Nandini Nambiar and Marco Avoletta.

The audience voted two films to win the public best film price, on the one hand the documentation “Beauty and the bike”, shot by the Scottish-German authors Beatrix Wupperman and Richard Grassick, on the other hand the short “10 Things I Have Learned About Mountainbiking”, made by the Swiss movie maker Tom Malecha.

Congratulations from the jury and the organization team of the ICFF!
